Ap climate can be described as {{tropical monsoon climate}} because it is located in tropical zone based on temperature and receiving more amount of rainfall due to the monsoon.

The state lowest temperatures recorded in the state at Lambasingi. It is also known as Andhra Kashmir. - In Araku valley of Seetharamaraju District
Due to the proximity to the mysoore plateau Chittoor and Ananthapur districts experiences low temperature during this season.

During this season Hot & Dry weather conditions prevails, The highest temperatures are recorded in this season due to the vertical rays of the sun.
Rentachintala in Palanadu district experiences highest temperature in the state during the month of May.

The range of temperatures in the state during this month is b/w 18°C to 31°C.
Due to the more heating of the land intensive convectional activity takes place, hence convectional rainfall or pre-monsoonal showers occurs, charecterised by lighting and thunder stroms in the months of April & May. These pre-monsoonal showers are known as Eruvaka jallulu or Mango Showers.

Hot & Wet climatic contions prevails in this season. By June 2nd week south west monsoon enter into the state and spreds all over the state by the end of the month.
The average annual rainfall in the state during this season is 556 MM. but this in 2021-22 the amount of rainfall had occurs about 607.3mm in the state. It means 9.2% deviation takes place during this year.
Upto December 2022 (june to December) the highest average rainfall has been recorded in Alluri Seetha rama raju followed by Ambedkar konaseema district. And lowest rainfall recorded during the same period the state is "prakasam district"
During this season sileru and shabari river valley regions receivs highest amount rainfall in the state,, where as hagari river valley region in ananthapur
Tropical cyclonic depressions that forms sometimes in the North or middle part of Bay of Bengal causes heavy rains in coastal districts, particularly in north coastal districts.

October month is said to be the transitional period like a bridge b/w rainy season and winter. Temperature gradually decreases in November and December. Retreating South west causes heavy rains in southern coastal districts particularly in Nellore and prakasam regions & Rayalaseema region of tirupathi, annamayya, kadapa. The depressions that occur in October November period to the south and south east of Bay of Bengal travel towards north and north west, cross the sea coast and cause heavy loss by forming storms. Rains that occur because of these depressions rain the first crops.
The average annual rainfall in the state during this season in 296 mm. but upto december 2022 the amount of rainfall had occurs about 310.4 mm in the state. It means (+) 8.7% deviation had takes place during this year.
During the 2022 north east monsoonal season nellore district and received highest amount of rainfall where as nandyala district lowest amount of rainfall in the state.
